In spring of 2008 we had to move the tours to Jennings Randolph Lake due to low water in the Savage Reservoir.Now of course our Savage Rez Tours are back, and we are back on 'The Rez'.

However, we took opportunity to explore and get to know Jennings Randolph Lake (ugggh what a name). This large lake straddles the West Virginia and Maryland Border and sits deep in a mountainous valley.

It is a gorgeous lake with its own pair of nesting Bald Eagles! It's a bigger lake and folks who have toured with us before might like to schedule a special trip over there. We want to go back!

More Jennings Randolph Lake Paddling Information: We offer outstanding tours on the nearby Jennings-Randolph Lake. The water quality is excellent and at times it proves more challenging than the Savage due to waves being blown up by the winds on the bigger expanses of open water. Depending on the weather forecast minimum age to paddle a single kayaks may be raised to 12 years.

The eagles nest is very near the water and this year we have seen two eaglets on the nest. Eagle activity ought to be great all summer there and we'd love to take you there and show it to you!

Boat traffic is very very minimal!
Swimming is Allowed! Very Scenic!

Minimum group sizes of 12 or more is usually required for a special trip over there (depending on day and season) it's only a 20 scenic minutes farther than the Savage Rez from Deep Creek Lake ). Non Gourmet Group Trips Available as Well for $60.00 per person.
